The Nica alerting app enables schools to quickly and purposefully alert in emergencies such as active shooter situations, fires, or medical incidents. The app distributes alerts via push notifications, email, and soon also via SMS to predefined groups such as teachers, school management, or first responders – at the push of a button and in real-time.
The app supports various scenarios such as active shooter situations, fires, medical emergencies, evacuations, or technical malfunctions. Depending on the incident, the right groups are automatically informed – without any delay. The app is flexibly customizable and can be tailored to the individual needs of each school.
The alerting occurs within seconds. After activation, a push notification is immediately sent to all relevant individuals. Additionally, emails and soon also SMS can be activated to ensure that no one is overlooked, even in the absence of an internet connection.
