What does the “AI-generated image” label mean?
The “AI-generated image” label at the bottom right means that the image was created with artificial intelligence or contains AI-generated elements. It appears as readable text directly on the image, together with the information symbol “ⓘ”. Linked labels lead to the relevant entry on this page; disclosures for linked article cards can be found here through the footer.
Illustrations, not documentary photographs
AI imagery illustrates topics and use cases. It does not substantiate real events, customer relationships or actual employees depicted. Product illustrations may combine real screen content with artificially generated environments. Refer to the product descriptions for actual functionality.
Context under the EU AI Act
Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 requires disclosure of artificially generated or manipulated content where it constitutes a deep fake. Paragraph 5 addresses clear, distinguishable and accessible information no later than first exposure. Not every AI image is automatically a deep fake. We also label confirmed illustrative AI imagery.
These visible notices are not machine-readable provenance certificates or a certification of full AI Act compliance. They are distinct from AI system providers’ technical marking obligations under Article 50(2).
Our AI image inventory
This inventory covers identified AI images used on the current website, including blog covers confirmed by the operator. Actual company photographs, reference logos and documented original screenshots are not labelled as AI-generated. The generator, prompt and creation date are not documented for every image; we do not make unsupported claims about them.
